Jerusalem House is growing to meet Atlanta's needs
HIV/AIDS remains a devastating problem in Atlanta. In order to provide permanent supportive housing for those we currently serve and for the many people who are waiting for a housing opportunity, Jerusalem House adopted a five year strategic plan which included increasing our housing by up to 300% by the year 2011. In 2009, we added 71 housing units to serve over 100 additional residents, including single adults and families. Scattered Site II allows us to expand our reach to low-income, not just homeless, individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS.
