Jerusalem House was one of two organization teams participating as co-beneficiaries in the AIDS Vaccine 200 (AV200) event produced by Action Cycling Atlanta. Held the weekend of May 22-23, AV200 is a fun and rewarding two day, 200 mile ride to raise money for the Emory Vaccine Center.
As a participating team, Jerusalem House will receive 25% of the total funds that our team - Jerusalem House Riders - raises. This year's team members include
Brian Bowman
Christopher Campbell
Bernard Colligan
Bryant Gresham
Maria Isabel-leBlanc
David Parker
Kirk Rich, JH Board President
Peter Settelmayer
Rajendra Srivastava
Ted Tuerk, JH Board member
And we are thrilled to congratulate the Jerusalem House Riders for being the team the raised the most money - $24,725 - of the 18 teams that participated in the event. Not only did they put forth a tremendous physical effort in completing the race, but they also went the distance in providing much needed funds for both HIV/AIDS vaccine research and housing programs for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS.
Thank you for everyone who generously supported this cause and to board member Ted Tuerk for leading the team!
