Why HIV/AIDS Housing?

Housing is healthcare. Housing results in improved health outcomes with the majority of people living with HIV/AIDS

Housing is prevention. With treatment, infectivity is reduced by 96%.

Housing is desperately needed. In Atlanta, about 3,000 housing units are needed for those affected by HIV. Our 160 units represent over 60% of the available permanent supportive HIV housing.

JH & HOPWA Budget Cuts

Due to HOPWA budget cuts beginning July 1, JH has been forced to reduce our housing units to 160. With sequestration, our funding is likely to be further affected. More….
