March 1-31 – Home Depot Foundation Facebook Vote Help us win $250,000 from the Home Depot Foundation in the month of March. Vote daily on Facebook! Thanks to community support, we won the June 2011 monthly vote, which put us in the running for the grand prize. If we win, we will be able to renovate our Learning Center and give more of our residents better access to educational opportunities. Joining Hearts is a 501 (c)(3), all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing support to people living with HIV and AIDS in Atlanta, Georgia. They raise money by holding signature special events throughout the year. Whether you enjoy spending the afternoon outside socializing with friends old and new, or you prefer dancing under the stars, their fundraisers are events everyone can enjoy while also supporting a great cause.
The AIDS Vaccine 200, or AV200, is a fun, challenging cycling event that raises funds and awareness for AIDS vaccine research. It is produced by Action Cycling Atlanta, an all-volunteer run organization. The AV200 happens in May and Jerusalem House has a team – the Jerusalem House Riders. Learn more.
